MAKING ALEGER
We produce our collections in our own knitwear factory that is certified annually by independent audit bodies to US and EU social compliance and factory technical standards.
Under The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) our knitting factory and the production management arm of our business adhere to high-level environmental and social compliance criteria along the entire supply chain. We can trace the organic status of our product, from harvesting of the raw materials, through to environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing. In addition, The Global Recycle Wool Standard (GRS) certification enables us to trace and certify the recycled content in our wool/cashmere blends.
MATERIALS
The quality of the yarn we use is reflected in the quality of our knitwear. We only buy yarn that is fully traceable and sustainable from three key suppliers that have an impeccable reputation in the industry, so that we can maintain ours!

85% PIMA COTTON 15% CASHMERE
The yarn is produced from a blend of American-grown Pima cotton and cashmere fibres. Unique to other cottons is it's extra-long staple fiber that gives the cotton its premium properties that includes both extra strength and extra softness. The finer fibres absorb dye better and the yarn is more resistant to pilling and breaking which helps us produce a higher quality garment that will last longer.
100% CASHMERE
Our yarn supplier cultivates their own cashmere goat pastures in Ordos Otuke Banner in Inner Mongolia and is certified to US and EU organic farming standards.
70% WOOL 30% CASHMERE
The wool in our cashmere blend yarns is bought from suppliers certified with the responsible wool standard. The 70% Wool 30% Cashmere blend is produced using 40% recycled wool.
95% ORGANIC COTTON 5% CASHMERE
Our 95% Organic Cotton 5% Cashmere yarn, our knitting factory and the production management arm of our business are GOTS certified (The Global Organic Textile Standard) which requires adherence to high-level environmental and social compliance criteria along the entire supply chain. PACKAGING
We know that every little bit counts so we carefully select packaging that ensures a lighter load on the environment.
The clear garment polybags protecting our knits are made with 100% recycled LDPE (low density polyethylene) and can be recycled after use.
All on-line orders are packed in polybags which are made from plant-based plastics and are compostable. To protect our knitwear from moisture during its journey, we use a plastic-free desiccant made from natural bentonite clay that is packaged in biodegradable FSC-certified Kraft paper. Where we can, we use recycled paper including with our hang-tags, packing slips and tissue paper.
